Provincial police are investigating after a fire destroyed Chez Marie restaurant in Cheney, Ont., just east of Ottawa.
Police say the fire ripped through the restaurant at 623 Russell Road, which was closed for business while it was undergoing renovations.
Police say nobody was injured in the blaze, which re-routed morning traffic on Tuesday.
The Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been called in to help with the investigation.
