Ontario Provincial Police have identified the person killed in a motorbike collision at Calabogie Motorsports Park as 42-year-old Calvin Essex, from London, Ont.

Police say Essex died Monday when several motorbikes collided on the track during a private lapping session at the park. Essex was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man was flown by air ambulance to the Ottawa Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. A third male was treated for not life-threatening injuries at Arnprior District Memorial Hospital.

Police are continuing their investigation, but no charges are pending.

The Calabogie Motorsports Park re-opened for business on Tuesday. The park is located about 100 kilometres west of Ottawa.
