Ontario Provincial Police have charged a Florida man with importing child pornography after images of child sexual abuse were found on his laptop.
David Lynn Perkins, 51, was arrested and charged earlier this week after Canadian border service agents stopped him as he crossed the border at the Thousand Islands Bridge at the Port of Lansdowne on Tuesday.
Police say a search of his car revealed the man had images of child sexual abuse on his laptop.
Perkins is charged with one count of importing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
