The three likely contenders for the Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership were all present Saturday morning for an Easter breakfast in North Dundas.
Merely a coincidence, according to the trio, who have yet to officially announce their intentions.
MPP's Christine Elliott (Whitby-Oshawa), Tim Hudak (Niagara West-Glanbrook), and Randy Hillier were in Chesterville to make their pitches for the party's future - but remained coy about their potential campaigns.
"I'll have more to say about the leadership in the very near future," said Hudak.
"I'm still very seriously considering it and I expect that I'll be making a final decision in (a) short while," added Elliott.
Hillier, meanwhile, has a news conference scheduled Monday morning at Queen's Park, where he's expected to announce his leadership bid.
Bob Runciman, the interim Conservative leader and longtime Leeds-Grenville MPP, was the scheduled guest speaker and was less surprised by his colleagues' attendance.
"In my opinion, it's a very good sign that they've already made a decision," Runciman told CTV Ottawa.
"Hopefully there'll be another one or two candidates from our caucus and perhaps outside as well entering the race."
The race will be decided in late June. Candidates have until April 17 to formally enter the race to replace John Tory, who resigned earlier this month after losing a byelection in Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock.
