A 54-year-old has been charged with robbery in relation to an incident at a Scotiabank on Somerset Street on Tuesday. William Coffey made his first appearance in court Wednesday.
Police say a man entered the Scotiabank at 661 Somerset Street West near Bronson around 2:25 p.m., asking for cash and later leaving with an undisclosed amount of money. He didn't appear to be armed.
A bystander saw a man walking away from the bank and called police, leading to the arrest.
