Emergency crews responded to an unusual call on Highway 417 Friday morning.

An OC Transpo bus burst into flames sending thick black smoke into the air during the morning rush hour near Moodie Drive.

The bus was pulled over onto the side of the highway when the driver noticed something wrong.

Paramedics say no injuries were reported.
