A North Hastings man faces several charges after an assault Thursday night.
Police were called to a home on Hwy. 62 in Hastings Highlands at about 8:30 p.m. after a man was reportedly beaten.
The suspect fled on foot, but a 40-year-old Carlow-Mayo man turned himself in on Friday. He was charged with assault with a weapon, assault with a weapon while wearing a disguise, and uttering death threat.
Bancroft OPP did not release the accused man's name. He was held in custody after a Friday bail hearing in Belleville court.
The victim was released from hospital on Friday.
