PEMBROKE, Ont. - Police say no charges will be laid in a crash in Pembroke, Ont., that claimed a woman's life.
Provincial police say 88-year-old Nicole Fortier of Sturgeon Falls, Ont., died in hospital after the Tuesday morning crash.
They say she was driving near the intersection of Highway 17 and White Water Road when her car collided with a Mack truck.
Police say the truck driver was also hurt but is expected to recover.
That stretch of the highway was closed for several hours Tuesday while police examined the scene.
