The NKOTB concert scheduled for Scotiabank Place tonight has been postponed until Wednesday night.

The band's trucks which carry gear and musical equipment were stuck at a border crossing.

A statement today from Live Nation reads:

"The Package tour was unfortunately delayed at the Canadian border earlier today and as a result has impacted the time required for the shows production and crew to prepare for tonight’s concert in Ottawa. As a result,  The Package Tour featuring New Kids On The Block, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men have rescheduled their Ottawa performance tonight to Wednesday, June 5th at Scotiabank Place.  All ticket purchased for the original performance this evening will be honoured tomorrow."

NKOTB, 98 Degrees, and Boyz 11 Men are touring North America this summer with stops scheduled in Ottawa and Montreal this week.

The bands played Boston Monday night.

Thousands of concert goers, most of them female, have taken to social media to express disappointment with the postponement.

Many have shown up at Scotiabank Place this afternoon only to learn at the venue that there will be no concert tonight.

One fan was furious after driving several hours from New York state.

CTV Ottawa's Claudia Cautillo will have a full report at 6pm.
