Ottawa Police have arrested and charged two men in connection with a violent incident in the east end of Ottawa last week.
On October 30th, police were called to a very serious and violent assault involving two men near the 2000 block of Alta Vista Drive. Two male victims - a 16 and a 17 year old - were transported to the hospital- one of the men suffering life threatening injuries.
One victim has since been released from hospital with minor injuries, the other victim is in stable condition and remains in hospital.
18 years old Ahmed Jama of Ottawa, has been charged with:
* Attempt murder
* Aggravated assault
* Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
* Possession weapons dangerous
* Assault with a weapon X 2
Jama is scheduled to appear in court Saturday.
19 years old Hashem Khraibah also of Ottawa, has been charged with:
* Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
* Assault cause bodily harm
* Possession weapons dangerous
* Wear disguise with intent
* Assault with a weapon X 2
Kharaibah was in court Friday.
Police say the suspects did not know each other.
