A man and a woman are dead after a crash in the east end Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to Montreal Rd at Highway 174 just after 4:30 pm.
Paramedics say both victims, who are believed to be in their 20s, were in cardiac arrest and couldn't be resuscitated. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have closed Montreal Road in both directions. It's expected to remain closed overnight on Sunday, but re-open in time for rush hour on Monday morning.
The Collisions Unit continues to investigate.
