Family and friends gathered Monday to say their final farewells to an Arnprior, Ont. man killed in a fatal crash that also claimed the lives of two young women.
Twenty-year-old Mark MacDonald was behind the wheel of a Toyota SUV when it collided with an OC Transpo bus at Heron Road and Riverside Drive at 1:50 a.m. Jan. 23.
Passengers Brianne Deschamps, 19, and Vanessa Crawford, 19, were also killed in the crash. The pair were laid to rest in separate ceremonies on Saturday.
All three victims were students at Carleton University.
Police are continuing their investigation and are waiting for a toxicology report to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
