One man is dead and another in hospital with critical head injuries following a motorcycle crash in Ottawa's west end early Sunday morning.
The male victim, in his 20s, was walking on Baseline Road near Clyde Avenue just after 4 a.m. when he was struck by the bike.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The motorcycle's driver, believed to be in his early 20s, was found unconscious in the road's median. He is in critical condition at the Ottawa Hospital.
Ottawa police are investigating the collision. Baseline was closed for several hours between Clyde Avenue and Cordova Street.
