Mother, daughter killed in three-vehicle crash
A mother and her daughter are both dead after a three vehicle collision east of Ottawa Friday night.
Ontario police said they were called to Champlain Road near Clarence Creek, about 50 kilometres east of downtown Ottawa, at 6:30 p.m.
They said 74-year-old Doris Billings and 51-year-old Bertha Clairoux of nearby Bourget were killed in the crash, as they were travelling in the same car.
Three others suffered minor injuries.
Champlain Road was closed for several hours while police investigated. There has been no cause of collision released yet.
