In the wake of a second death from a suspected arson at 1695 Playfair Dr., police say more charges are likely against a 23-year-old man they have in custody.
The Christmas Eve fire killed Margaret Ikkers, 57, at the scene and put three others in hospital. One person in critical condition died on Saturday.
Ikker's family told CTV that it's been a trying time; they are unable to make funeral arrangements until after the autopsy is finished, which won't be until at least Wednesday.
Ali Issaky is set to appear in court this week. So far he faces one count of second-degree murder and one count of arson with disregard for human life.
