A 35-year-old woman is in hospital with serious injuries after her vehicle collided with a pick-up truck carrying a load of bricks in North Gower, south of Ottawa.
The woman was unconscious and trapped in her vehicle when paramedics arrived at the scene in the 6000 block of 4th Line Road near Rogers Stevens Drive just after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Although the woman slowly regained consciousness, paramedics say she continued to show signs of a serious head injury. She remains in serious condition.
