Two men transported to hospital following shooting on Ottawa's Parkdale Avenue
Ottawa police are looking to speak with witnesses after two men were shot in a Mechanicsville apartment.
Emergency crews responded to the shooting in an apartment at 131 Parkdale Avenue, near Burnside Avenue, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Ottawa police say frontline patrol officers located two men inside the apartment with gunshot sounds.
Ottawa Paramedics told CTV News Ottawa Wednesday evening that two men, ages 25 and 54, were transported to the Ottawa Hospital trauma centre for treatment.
The Guns and Gangs Unit would like to speak with anyone who may have information about the shooting, or may have dashcam or security footage of the area at the time of the shooting.

Parkdale Avenue was closed between Lyndale Avenue and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway while police investigate. It has since reopened.
