Two eastern Ontario families will forever be joined in their sorrow after losing their children in a horrific crash east of Ottawa on Monday.

Garett Allen, 18, and Naomi Theoret, 17, were killed when their pickup truck slammed into a parked tractor trailer that was blocking a rural road in Nation Township, near Vankleek Hill.

The teen sweethearts had only been dating for four months but their parents say they were two kids full of life and crazy in love.

The teens spent their last hours together, doing the things they always did -- eating dinner, sharing laughs and riding in Garett's pickup truck. This weekend they will both be laid to rest.

A tribute to Naomi's life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St-Gregoire de Nazianze Church in Vankleek Hill. Her family is asking that donations be made to the Hawkesbury General Hospital.

On Sunday, a celebration of Garett's life will be held at 2 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church also in Vankleek Hill. The Allen family is asking that, instead of flowers, donations be made for a new soccer field in town.
