Ottawa Senator Captain Daniel Alfredsson's much-anticipated return has been confirmed. He will return to the lineup for game six against the New York Rangers at Scotiabank Place Monday night.

Alfredsson has been out since suffering a concussion in game two of the series. And while many fans had been worried about how his absence would affect the team, they have managed to pull through without him. The Sens now lead the series 3-2 after defeating the Rangers in New York, Saturday night.

The Sens have a chance to eliminate the Rangers in tonight's sold out game.
