Diana Wakely is a Renfrew painter who shares her artistic gifts weekly at the Bonnechere Manor. The Manor's therapeutic art program is putting a smile on the face of long term care. People living with such challenges as strokes and Alzheimer's are now 'artists in residence' at the Manor. Diana, along with staff members and other volunteers, are teaching residents to paint, helping them realize their creative goals. Their paintings are showcased at the Manor's art show and have been published as greeting cards. The proceeds benefit the Bonnechere Manor Artists' group and the Bonnechere Manor Foundation. For more information contact the Community Relations Coordinator at the Manor, Robyn Arseneau at (613) 432-4873 ext. 1253.
