The Ottawa Rapidz announced a new manager and general manager Friday on the heels of its debut season in the independent Can-Am League.
Tom Carcione, who has served as interim manager since July, will have the job full-time in 2009.
He will report to Shelagh O'Connor, promoted to general manager after serving as head of marketing. former CEO Rick Anderson has left the team for a hi-tech job in Calgary.
The Rapidz lost more than $1 million during their first season.
