Ottawa police are on the hunt for a 24-year-old man who allegedly broke into a Sandy Hill apartment, threw one cat off a balcony and beat another to death.
Police say they're looking for Richard Holstein of Ottawa who they say broke into the home on Wednesday.
Holstein is wanted on several charges including theft, injuring an animal and breaking probation.
He is described as a white male with blue eyes, short blond hair and a muscular build. He is about 6 feet tall, weighs 190 pounds and has several tattoos.
