Ottawa police are investigating the reported sexual assault of a young woman early Sunday morning in Ottawa's east end.
They say around 4:30 a.m., a 23-year-old woman was inappropriately touched by a male who came up behind her near a park in the area of Bilberry Dr. and Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard.
After the assault, the male suspect fled the scene on foot, heading south on Bilberry Dr. towards Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard.
The victim described the suspect as being a white male with a medium build, about 5'5" tall, wearing a balaclava over his face and a dark, long sleeved shirt and dark pants.
