Police in the Pontiac are investigating a fatal snowmobile accident on the Ottawa River Saturday night.
MRC des Collines said they were called to the river near Quyon around 9:30 p.m. after a man hit the riverbank while trying to make a U-turn.
His death was confirmed in hospital in Shawville.
Police said he was the only person on the snowmobile, with alcohol and speed being considered as factors.
His identity has not been revealed and police said the investigation continues.
