  • Top Priority: My priority is addressing the transportation infrastructure deficit in Innes Ward and the east end.  Innes Ward is situated between Orléans and the rest of Ottawa, so when traffic builds up, it happens here. Coupled with the increasing amount of traffic due to increased residential growth in the east end, and the result is even more pressure on our existing residential and arterial roads, causing congestion, lengthened commute times, and extensive wear and tear on our roads.
  • Hidden gem in your ward: Innes Ward has an abundance of parks, forests and natural areas, with an extensive network of trails connecting them; many of which are accessible or maintained year round.  Residents enjoy easy access to natural areas, such as the Mer Bleue Bog boardwalk, the Prescott-Russell Trail, Green’s Creek, and the Forest Valley Trail network, to name a few.

  • Top Priority: Right now my top priority is to hit every door!  My top campaign priority and what I am hearing at the doors on a daily basis is traffic and the lack of road network and the need for smarter transit routes. That is why I support extending Brian Coburn Blvd from Navan Road to Renaud Road with a parallel bus rapid transit corridor. I am also committed to working on smarter local transit routes if we want to get people out of their cars and on transit.
  • Hidden gem in your ward: Without a doubt, Miracle League Field on Navan Road.  Miracle League is a fully accessible baseball field, the only one of its kind in Ottawa (and only the second one in Canada) and I am proud to say it is located in Innes Ward!

  • Top Priority: My top priority is to improve the planning process for our Ward and for the City of Ottawa: Public Transit, Infrastructure & Development Planning Process
  • Hidden gem in your ward: I think from knocking at the doors that our ward has more dogs than voters!
