OTTAWA - A 32-year-old construction worker is in serious but stable condition in an Ottawa hospital after falling at a work site.
Paramedics say the worker fell 15 metres from a tower, breaking his upper leg and injuring his back and head.
The Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate the incident, which happened at 9 a.m. on Leitrim Road near Bank Street on Tuesday, July 15, 2014.
The incident comes a day after Ottawa paramedics rushed another worker to hospital after he was pinned under a heavy lift.
