OTTAWA -- A 19-year-old man was treated for non-life threatening injuries after a targeted overnight shooting in Ottawa's south end.

Ottawa police responded to a call for a shooting in the 2500 block of Hunters Point Crescent, near Bridle Path Drive, just before 1 a.m. Friday.

Police say the victim was located with gun shot wounds a few blocks away in the area of Bank Street and Queensdale Avenue. He was transported to hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound.

Investigators believe it was a targeted shooting.
