A 35-year-old woman has been charged with careless driving after allegedly letting her daughter get behind the wheel to drive her home from a party in Lanark County.
Ontario provincial police are accusing the woman of letting her nine-year-old daughter drive home Saturday night because she was concerned she had too much to drink.
Police say the pair was pulled over south of Perth when an officer noticed the driver of the vehicle seemed pretty young.
