KINGSTON, Ont. -- Police say a 31-year-old man is facing charges after he allegedly broke the conditions of his probation to get a late-night burger in Kingston, Ont.

Investigators say an officer spotted the Kingston man in a vehicle in the drive-thru of a restaurant.

They say the officer knew the man wasn't supposed to be at the restaurant and pulled him over to find him eating a burger from the restaurant.

Police say the man was searched and officers found he had methamphetamine on him.

The man was charged with possession of a controlled drug, two counts of breach of undertaking, and one of breach probation.
