A family in Buckingham is without a home following a major house fire early Thursday morning.
About 30 firefighters battled the blaze, which broke out at about 2 a.m. on Francois-Theriault Street.
The intensity of the blaze caused the fire to spread next door, where it caused damage to a neighbouring home.
One person was treated for minor smoke inhalation.
Damage is estimated at $250,000. It's believed the fire started in the carport.
