Police have identified a Gatineau woman as the victim of a fatal accident on Highway 401 northeast of London, Ont. on Thursday.

The OPP said 29-year-old Maude Desgagne-Bedard survived a rollover while exiting the highway near Woodstock, Ont. around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

However, she wandered back into traffic and was hit by several vehicles.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they've spoken to the driver of a car that was near the scene of the crash.

They're still looking for the driver of a flatbed truck that was just ahead of the vehicle that first struck the victim.
