Gatineau police have arrested eight people for fraud after hundreds of debit and credit cards were uncovered following a police investigation into a tip from security guards at Casino du Lac-Leamy.
Police seized three vehicles and hundreds of debit and credit cards as a result of the investigation. Police say the amount of fraud uncovered exceeds $100,000.
Seven men and one woman were arrested for fraud on Saturday. They have since been released on bail.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and more charges could be laid.
