Four dogs have died after a fire on 1757 Woodroffe Avenue in Nepean.
Ottawa Fire says they received multiple 9-1-1 calls of heavy black smoke at a two storey home.
Ottawa Fire says that there are approxiemately $250,000 in damage to the home.
There are no reported injuries at this time.
A fire investigator has been dispatched to determine the cause of the blaze.
