A former teacher in the Ottawa area has been charged with indecent assault after a police investigation into a historical complaint.
Ottawa police laid the charges against 62-year-old Italo Medugno after investigating several incidents that occurred between a student and teacher over a three-year period starting in 1979.
Medugno, of Gatineau, is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 1.
