A man who helped build one of Ottawa's most successful radio stations has died after a battle with colon cancer.
As general manager, Chuck Azzarello helped lead CHEZ-FM to the top of the ratings. He held the position since the radio station's early days in 1977.
Azzarello left that position after Rogers purchased CHEZ-FM in 1999. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
