OSHAWA, Ont. - Scott Laughton scored three times and added an assist as the Oshawa Generals defeated the visiting Belleville Bulls 8-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Scott Sabourin, Sebastian Uvira, Christian Thomas and Lucas Lessio also scored for the Generals (26-25-5) while Matt Petgrave and Nicklas Jensen chipped in with three assists apiece.
Daniil Zharkov scored the lone goal for the Bulls (26-27-1), who have now lost three straight games.
Kevin Bailie made 31 saves for the win as Malcolm Subban allowed five goals on 20 shots through 40 minutes of play.
Charlie Graham played the third period for the Colts and stopped nine of 12 shots in relief.
