THE CTV NEWS APP:
CANADA'S MOST TRUSTED NEWS. ANYTIME. ANYWHERE
Stefan Keyes anchors CTV News on weekends with Christina Succi and is a reporter on CTV News during the week.
He isn’t just your average journalist who sits behind a news desk and reports the daily news. No, no. Aside from stellar reporting with a stylish flair, Keyes works diligently to give back to the community volunteering for several not-for-profit groups with a focus on minority issues, youth, and the arts.
His talents also led him to become a vocalist and actor, who has performed for diverse crowds in Canada, the United States and Jamaica. Keyes has also been a back-up singer for Grammy award-winning gospel artist, Tramaine Hawkins. And sometimes you can still spot him in a movie-of-the-week or a Canadian-produced TV series.
The CTV News anchor is a proud Ottawa native and completed his post-secondary studies at Carleton University’s prestigious School of Journalism.
He launched his career with CTV Ottawa in 2008 before moving to Alberta for a news anchoring position in Calgary.
Naturally, he is overjoyed to have returned to his Ottawa roots.
