Ottawa Paramedics were called into action on Monday to assist a bird.
Paramedics Sara hand Mel found the small bird on the ground outside the Kanata base. The bird was treated for dehydration before being turned over to Safe Wings Ottawa.
We have another #heatadvisory. Remain hydrated, limit sterneous activity and take breaks from the heat in the shade or air conditioning. It looks like this bird didn't follow our advice. Good thing Sarah and Mel found him at our base in Kanata and cared for his dehydration. pic.twitter.com/CIRdJVZoj7
