UPDATE: The Ottawa Police Service is advising that the boy has been found safe and sound.

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Service is looking for assistance from the public in locating a missing eight year old boy, Vance NEVILLE. Vance was last seen at 1:30pm near 50 Bayshore Drive in the west end of Ottawa.
Vance is described as a white male wearing beige and white shorts, a brown woollen checkered vest with no shirt underneath and black running shoes. Vance is 132 cm tall with a thin build. He has straight short brown hair. (see photo).
He is known to take OC Transpo buses and attend area shopping centres.
