Ottawa police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was run over by a vehicle in a hit-and-run near Algonquin College.
The victim suffered serious injuries, including two broken legs, when he was struck in a parking lot behind the college at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Paramedics reported the vehicle was in reverse when it struck the man and ran over both of his legs.
The driver was arrested when police located the suspect a short distance away.
