An eastern Ontario man was sentenced to life in prison after he was found guilty of killing his estranged wife almost three years ago.
Cheers and applause broke out in the courtroom on Wednesday as Andrew Stevenson was sentenced for the first-degree murder of Stefanie Stevenson, 33, who was gunned down in the driveway of her Brockville home in December 2006.
The couple has two daughters.
