Police are looking for a suspected thief after a pharmacy in the west-end was robbed Sunday morning.

The robbery took place shortly after 9:30 a.m. at the Rexall Pharmacy on Woodroffe Avenue.

A man demanded that the pharmacist open a safe holding prescription pills. He then filled two shopping baskets with an assortment of the pills and fled the store.

No weapons were seen and no threats were made.

The suspect is described as a white man, with an average build.
