One man was killed in a two-vehicle collision that closed Highway 309 in L'Ange-Gardien northeast of Gatineau this morning.
Police say 77-year-old Lawrence Morin, from Val-des-Bois, was killed when his car rear-ended a dump truck just before 10:30 a.m. Nobody else was in the vehicle.
Police say the dump truck was stopped in traffic when it was hit. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
The highway remains closed. Police are investigating.
L'Ange-Gardien is located about 30 kilometres northeast of Gatineau.
