Man in his 60s has died in hospital after a collision on Centrepointe Drive

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Police Collision Investigations Unit is continuing its investigation into the serious collision on Centrepointe Drive this morning. The male victim succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.

Investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the victim, a male in his 60s with beige pants and green jacket, walking in the area of Dalecroft Crescent and Centerpointe Drive at approximately 9:00am this morning. The man was walking with a shuffle.

  Both directions of Centrepointe Drive have been closed from Wycliffe Street to Palisade Street. The Ottawa Police Collisions Unit is investigating.
