CLOYNE, Ont. - A man in his early 20s believed to be from the Quinte area is dead after a fall at Bon Echo Provincial Park.
Provincial police Sgt. Jason Butcher says the man was either climbing or descending a rock wall in the park on Saturday night.
Butcher says it's not yet known if the man was using safety equipment when he fell to his death.
Bon Echo, north of Cloyne, Ont., is renowned for Mazinaw Rock, a 1.5-kilometre sheer rock face rising 100 metres above Mazinaw Lake.
