Ottawa Paramedics say a man in his 40s was brought to the Trauma Centre after an incident at a construction site near Crystal Beach this afternoon.
The man was struck by a metal plate and suffered serious chest injuries on a site at Moodie Drive and Carling Avenue just before 1 p.m.
Paramedics say he is currently in serious, but stable condition.
