A man facing over 70 counts of criminal charges was arrested Friday morning at the Sensplex in Kanata.

The man was taken into custody at around 9 a.m. after being noticed by an off-duty detective.

The man was wanted on six outstanding arrest warrants, ranging from Break and Enter to fraud and theft. He is also facing three additional charges stemming from his arrest, including possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of a break-in instrument.

Police said the man intended to rob the lockers at Sensplex.

Altogether, Robert Fisher, 29 of Ottawa, has been charged with over 70 criminal counts.

Police said further charges are expected to be laid.
