A man is dead after a stabbing in Ottawa's west end.
Police were called to the 2800 block of Carling Avenue near Pinecrest around 6pm Monday evening after a fight between two people escalated.
One man was taken to Ottawa hospital with serious injuries. He died Tuesday morning. Police have a person of interest in custody although charges have not yet been laid. Charges are expected later today.
It is believed that the victim and the person in custody are known to each other.
