The provincial SIU is investigating after a police standoff west of Ottawa ended in the death of a man Thursday.
OPP said the standoff started around noon Thursday in Papineau-Cameron, about 160 km west of Pembroke.
A man barricaded himself inside a house with a firearm for hours, and when police finally managed to get in they found him dead.
They aren't saying if any shots were fired.
