Ottawa Police have charged a man they believe was involved in a string of break and enters in Orleans and Cumberland.
26-year-old Joshua Saunders of Ottawa has been charged with eight counts of break and enter to a dwelling house, eight counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and one count of attempting break and enter to a house.
Police say the crimes happened between July 20th, 2015 and August 13th, 2015 in homes with unlocked doors or windows.
The suspect was found in possession of many items reported stolen from the east-end homes.
